NEW 2560×2560 AMOLED Display – An Incredible Viewing Experience

One of the biggest improvements to the RIX LPR L6R is its completely redesigned viewing system.

The new LPR L6R features a 1.03-inch 2560×2560 AMOLED display, replacing the previous LEAP generation’s 1920×1080 screen.

This substantial upgrade delivers a larger, more immersive viewing experience with excellent contrast, clarity, and image presentation.

The high-resolution AMOLED display works alongside RIX’s ClarityX™ image-processing technology and innovative optical-digital zoom system to provide a refined viewing experience across different magnification settings.

Its square-format screen is designed to complement the circular optical eyepiece, helping reduce the tunnel-like appearance commonly associated with some thermal rifle scopes.

For hunters familiar with the original LEAP L6R, the new display represents one of the most noticeable improvements to the next-generation platform.

NEW 21700 Battery System – Longer Runtime and Better Flexibility

RIX has significantly improved the battery system on the new LPR L6R, introducing a higher-capacity removable 21700 rechargeable battery platform.

Compared to the original LEAP L6R’s 18650 battery system, the new design allows hunters to take advantage of larger-capacity batteries while maintaining compatibility with the 18650 format.

With the included adapter sleeve, hunters can continue using compatible 18650 batteries they already own.

The LPR L6R delivers up to 5.5 hours of manufacturer-rated runtime per 21700 battery under specified testing conditions.

Even better, RIX includes two rechargeable 21700 batteries, giving hunters a spare battery right out of the box.

For extended hunting sessions, the LPR also supports USB-C external power, providing additional flexibility when spending long nights in the field.

Unlike thermal scopes that rely on permanently installed internal batteries, the LPR utilizes a fully replaceable battery system.

For serious hunters, this means easier battery management, straightforward replacement, and the flexibility to carry additional power for extended nighttime hunts.

    640×512 Thermal Imaging with Ultra-Sensitive <12mK NETD

At the heart of the RIX LPR L6R is a powerful 640×512 thermal sensor with a 12-micron pixel pitch and an ultra-sensitive <12mK NETD rating.

Compared to the original LEAP L6R’s <20mK NETD specification, the new sensor offers improved sensitivity to subtle temperature differences.

This is especially important when hunting in challenging conditions.

High humidity, fog, rain, and warm nighttime temperatures can reduce the contrast between animals and their surroundings, making it more difficult to distinguish targets from the background.

The LPR L6R combines its upgraded thermal sensor with a premium 50mm F0.9 objective lens, designed to maximize thermal energy reaching the detector.

Together, these improvements help produce detailed thermal images with excellent target-to-background separation.

For hunters pursuing coyotes across agricultural fields or targeting hogs in difficult conditions, the improved sensor and lens combination provides a strong foundation for reliable thermal imaging performance.

ClarityX™ Image Processing – Advanced Thermal Detail

RIX introduces its next-generation ClarityX™ thermal image-processing technology with the LPR platform.

ClarityX™ utilizes advanced image-processing algorithms and AI-assisted enhancement to improve image detail, reduce noise, and help preserve target definition during digital magnification.

The system works continuously in the background, automatically enhancing thermal images without requiring hunters to manually activate the feature.

Combined with the LPR’s highly sensitive thermal sensor and large-aperture objective lens, ClarityX™ is designed to produce crisp images with strong contrast and detailed target definition.

Whether you’re watching a coyote move along a distant tree line or identifying hogs in an open field, the new image-processing platform helps deliver the image quality experienced thermal hunters demand.

FlexZoom – 3× to 9× TRUE Optical Zoom

One of the features that made the original RIX LEAP series stand out was its true optical zoom capability.

The new LPR L6R takes that technology even further with an innovative FlexZoom optical-digital magnification system.

The LPR L6R features a 3×–9× true optical zoom range, allowing hunters to increase apparent target size through optical magnification rather than relying exclusively on digital enlargement.

Unlike traditional digital zoom, which enlarges the sensor image electronically, optical zoom uses physical lenses to magnify the viewed image.

This gives hunters greater flexibility when observing distant targets and adjusting magnification for different shooting scenarios.

The LPR L6R also provides an additional 1×–4× digital zoom, allowing even greater magnification when needed.

RIX has redesigned the zoom controls to make them more convenient to use in the field.

Both optical and digital magnification adjustments are positioned near the eyepiece, allowing hunters to operate the system with one hand while maintaining their shooting position.

The digital zoom control also features a locking mechanism to help prevent accidental magnification changes.

For coyote hunters shooting at different distances, the combination of true optical zoom and digital magnification is one of the most valuable features of the LPR platform.

NEW Adjustable 2,187-Yard Laser Rangefinder – Range What You Aim At

The new RIX LPR L6R introduces a major improvement to integrated laser ranging technology with its mechanically adjustable laser rangefinder, capable of measuring distances up to 2,187 yards.

Unlike conventional thermal rifle scopes with fixed laser ranging points, the LPR allows hunters to physically align the laser rangefinder with the center of their zeroed reticle.

This solves a common issue with traditional integrated LRF systems.

After zeroing a thermal rifle scope, the electronic reticle position may no longer align with the laser rangefinder’s aiming point.

This can require hunters to range an animal using a separate ranging box before moving the reticle back onto the target.

The LPR’s adjustable ranging system allows the laser to be calibrated to the reticle center for a designated reference profile.

Once properly aligned, hunters can aim directly at the target and obtain a distance measurement without having to reposition between separate ranging and aiming points.

The system supports both single and continuous ranging modes and features a visible green laser to assist with calibration.

For hunters engaging coyotes or hogs at varying distances, this upgraded ranging system offers a faster, more intuitive way to obtain accurate distance information.

Intelligent Ballistic Calculator with Built-In Environmental Sensors

The RIX LPR L6R takes precision aiming a step further with its integrated ballistic calculation system.

In addition to measuring target distance, the LPR incorporates built-in environmental sensors that monitor temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure.

These measurements are used by the onboard ballistic calculator to account for environmental influences on bullet trajectory.

This is particularly useful for hunters who regularly shoot at extended distances or hunt in locations where weather conditions and elevation can change.

Rather than relying entirely on manually entered environmental data, the LPR can incorporate sensor measurements directly into its ballistic calculations.

The riflescope also supports five zeroing profiles, providing flexibility for multiple rifles or shooting configurations.

When properly configured with accurate rifle, ammunition, and ballistic information, the system can display trajectory correction guidance directly in the scope.

For experienced thermal hunters who want more than basic distance measurement, this integrated ranging and ballistic system is a significant upgrade.

    Approximately 30% Lighter Magnesium-Alloy Housing

Despite its advanced technology and 50mm objective lens, the new RIX LPR L6R is substantially lighter than the original LEAP generation.

Through a completely redesigned magnesium-alloy housing, RIX has reduced the overall weight by approximately 30% compared to its predecessor.

The new LPR L6R weighs just 2.01 pounds (912 grams), excluding the external battery.

This reduction improves handling and makes the rifle more comfortable to carry during extended hunting sessions.

The redesigned housing also maintains the durability expected from a premium hunting optic.

With an IP67 protection rating, a traditional 30mm tube configuration, and an included quick-detach Picatinny mount, the LPR L6R combines rugged construction with familiar riflescope ergonomics.

For hunters who spend hours behind a rifle mounted on a tripod or walking between hunting locations, the reduced weight is a welcome improvement.

2,843-Yard Thermal Detection Range and 50Hz Imaging

The RIX LPR L6R offers a manufacturer-rated thermal detection range of up to 2,843 yards, providing long-distance thermal detection capability in open environments.

Its 50Hz refresh rate supports smooth observation of moving animals, making it well-suited for nighttime coyote hunting and hog control.

Combined with the advanced ClarityX™ processing, highly sensitive 640 thermal sensor, and 50mm F0.9 objective lens, the LPR delivers a versatile imaging platform for serious nighttime hunters.

Detection range represents the ability to detect a thermal target under specified conditions and does not indicate the distance at which an animal can necessarily be positively identified or ethically engaged.

    Advanced Recording and Hunting Features

The RIX LPR L6R includes several additional features designed to improve convenience and functionality in the field.

With 64GB of onboard storage, hunters can record thermal footage directly through the riflescope without needing a separate recording device.

The scope supports 1280×1280 video recording in MP4 format, Wi-Fi connectivity, and compatibility with the RIX+ mobile application.

    Additional features include:

    • Multiple thermal color palettes
    • Picture-in-picture viewing
